3s succumb at St Megs

3s had the dubious honour of being the 1st Grammar side to play cricket at St Margarets. The rather short boundaries proved tempting for all and at 130pm, Grammar 3s were having a good day at 51 for no wicket from 6. However less than an hour later they were all out 120, just openers Jim Lee 29 from 20 and Harry Murphy (15) making double figures until last man Afaq Mazhar clubbed a quick 20. On the small ground, 120 was never going to be sufficient, 2nd Masterblasters coasted home 2 down in the 17th over. 3s like 2s have no game this weekend and return on 1st June at home to 2nd Gordonians.
