FPs lose by 1 wicket

The outcome on Saturday was  an exciting 1 wicket loss as Knightriders triumphed off the penultimate ball.

The facts of the game were as follows.

FPs lined up Nattrass, Keith, Penman, Haider (c), Garwood, Swiergon, Morrison, Murray, Javaid, Lee (w), Norwood.

The game started at 1325, 10 minutes later than the agreed 1315 start. FPs lost wickets regularly, with George bowling extremely well taking 2 for 13. Only Agha Haider made a mark with 66 of FPs 154 for 9, receiving good support from Tom Murray.

Knightriders raced to 74 for no loss before Haider ran out Kesavan. Morrison then dispatched the top order with 3 for 27. FPs reduced Knightriders to 135 for 9 with Nattrass getting 3 for 15 and Garwood 2 for 26 but a late flurry saw Knights home.

FPs look forward to the game against 2nd Abergreen next week at Rubislaw.
