Just a quick plug for a new novel by former player John Eagles. Following his hugely successful 1st novel ‘Starting to Shrink’, John is back with the ever more tricky to write 2nd novel ‘Shrinking to fit’. Many of you will remember John as an excellent batsmen, key closer catcher and most importantly master spinner who used to use all his nous not just to get into the head of the batsman but also the umpire . Having seen off all batsmen, John decided to turn his hand to writing and has successfully managed to get into the readers head with 2 superbly crafted novels. These are of course available on Amazon and all other good bookshops. Give it a read – you are sure to enjoy them.
