FPs fell to a 7 wicket loss to Mannofield to remain bottom of the table. Having batted 1st, FPs batting woes continued as they were all out for 163. Mannofield made short work of the chase winning with 14 overs to spare with only 3 wickets down.
FPs lined up Keith, Nattrass, Haider, Swiergon, Javaid, Sood, Bhosale, Sharma, Prash, Knudson and Thomson. Only Keith 40, skipper Swiergon 43 and Sood 37 made any contribution as once again the majority of the batting was quickly rolled over.
With an underpar score, early wickets were needed and despite Prash bowling both Alawattage for 11 and Hastie for 0, a good stand from Hasmi (75) and Ken Yahathugoda (54) saw Mannofield close to victory, Knudson eventually removing the latter LBW.
With FPs exiting the cup on Sunday and having lost all T20 games this season, they face undefeated Crescent this weekend. on the back of 12 successive losses. They will be hoping this might be the weekend to finally find some form.
