Stoneywood Dyce proved too strong for FPs as, despite a decent late charge, the visitors fell 20 runs short in the latest T20 Scottish Cup tie. Stoneywood Dyce posted 145 for 5 thanks to 55 not out from David Lamb and 41 from George Ninan. Fraser Proud was the pick of FPs bowlers with 1 for 19, while Prash, Harrower, and Haider all took 1 wicket.
The FPs top order was quickly dismissed as they slipped to 27 for 4 and 53 for 5, but some big hitting by Ranald Wilkie nearly got FPs back into the contest as he hit 4 fours and 3 huge sixes in a freewheeling knock, his dismissal for 48 ending any brief hopes FPs may have had. Next week is a free week before FPs meet Stoneywood Dyce again the following week at Rubislaw.
