FPs title hopes were all but ended as they crumbled to a 30 run defeat to Knightriders at Groats Road. Having bowled well, FPs let the initiative slip as they allowed Knightriders to make 151 for 8 and then batted poorly on a tricky wicket, being bowled out in the final over, only Karan Anand 38 and Rob Swiergon making any impact.
For Knightriders, Tenneti batted well to make 49 with Prash claiming 2 wickets for FPs. There were also 4 run outs as FPs fielded well in the most part. 5 wickets for Vijayraj meant that Knightriders pushed FPs behind the rate and ultimately claimed a deserved victory.
FPs team: Keith, Morrison, Senthil, Swiergon, Anand, Proud, Mapplebeck, Herd, Clelland, Challa, Prash
With the title now out of grasp, FPs face Inverurie away on Saturday in a battle to claim 2nd spot. They will have to do it without a string of players including Anand, Senthil and Herd who are either injured or unavailable, but it sure to be a good contest.
Man of The Match
Prash bowled well against his previous side.
