Pre-Season Friendlies and Availability

The Grades fixture list should be available in the next couple of days and we’ll post these on the site as soon as they are available. Providing the current late cold snap relents, we’re looking forward to our pre-season programme which kick-offs at Banchory a week on Saturday.

We’ll be trying to give all available players at least one match so please register and update your availability on teamer as soon as possible. Final reminders will go out today.

Squads for all three games will be drafted after nets on Tuesday 10th from everyone who has said they are available by then.

If for any reason, you can’t update teamer please email secretary@aberdeencricket.com with your availability.

Outdoor Nets

A team of hardy souls spent last Sunday morning erecting the nets for another season. Practice sessions will start up again next week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.00pm onwards.

Club Membership and Match Fees

A reminder that annual subscriptions are now due:

  • Full Membership – £60
  • Under-25 Membership – £45

With the outdoor nets now ready to go for another season we’ll shortly be replacing mats and netting which was lost in last season’s fire so it’s more important than ever that the club remains in a healthy financial position.

You can setup a Standing Order of £10 a month, or transfer a lump sum at the start of the season to cover subs, match fees matchball sponsorship etc. The bank details are as follows:

  • Branch: Nationwide, 250 Union Street, Aberdeen
  • Sort Code: 07-00-55
  • Account Number: 73471426

If you want to pay your subs. by posting a cheque please print off the return slip and include this with your payment.

Early Season Social

There has been lots of activity off the pitch over the winter and the club is in good shape for an exciting summer of cricket. It was great to see so many new faces at the recent indoor nets. While regular post-match socialising is regular feature of Grammar Cricket we’re hoping to see as many players as possible back at the Club Centre after the first round of games on Saturday 28th April. There should be plenty in attendance from 7.00pm onwards even if either of our games happen to be cancelled.

Club Kit

Thanks to everyone who submitted an order for club kit. Due to long lead times from our current supplier the committee are looking at an alternative. Full details to follow in the next newsletter so watch this space.
